Preprocessor.blob_filter(template, width)[source]#

Apply blob filter defined as:

$$f_{blob}=\frac{\sqrt{1-(\frac{4n^2}{(M-1{)}^2}{)}^m}{I}_m(\beta \sqrt{1-(\frac{4n^2}{(M-1{)}^2})})}{I_m(\beta )}-\frac{M-1}{2}\le n\le \frac{M-1}{2}\text{With }\beta =3.2\text{ and order=2}$$

Parameters:

templateNDArray

The input atomic structure map.

widthint

Width of the filter window.

Returns:

NDArray

Simulated electron densities.
