Preprocessor.kaiserb_filter(template, width)[source]#

Apply Kaiser filter defined as:

\[f_{kaiser} = \frac{I_{0}(\beta\sqrt{1- \frac{4n^{2}}{(M-1)^{2}}})}{I_{0}(\beta)} -\frac{M-1}{2} \leq n \leq \frac{M-1}{2} \text{With } \beta=3.2\]
Parameters:
templateNDArray

The input atomic structure map.

widthint

Width of the filter window.

normalizebool, optional

If true, the output is z-transformed. Default is False.

Returns:
NDArray

Simulated electron densities.
